F ew spots in Dallas transport me to a Parisian bistro as well as the glassed-in patio at Up On Knox — especially when it's been reserved on a delightfully drizzly morning to celebrate the opening of French label Sandro's fi rst Dallas shop, on Level One at NorthPark Center. PaperCity welcomed Sandro's marketing and commu nications director Maddie Ashton, in from New York, and a posh group of friends including Missy Rogers Peck, Kaleta Blaffer Johnson, Deborah Scott, and Kelly Nyfeler, who was dressed head-to-toe in Sandro, from a black Western fringe button-down to black leather boots. Cappuccinos, quiche Florentine, gruyère omelets, avocado toast, warm baguettes, and trays of Knox Street bakery's pastries provided sustenance, while Sandro's edgy cowgirl-meets-Paris-street wear aesthetic set a delightful tone.
