The dining room interior architecture was designed in 1986 by George Weinle, who created cloud murals for client Yoko Ono. Small artwork at right is by Liliana Porter, from Sicardi/Ayers/Bacino. Judy Aldridge is a master of mixing periods and styles. In the living room, a pair of blue Warren Platner chairs, which she bought 30 years ago, with a late 1950s Tom Greene Brutalist chandelier, and an antique door and rug bought in Morocco. Designer Philip Thomas Vanderford gives the study a clubby feel with rich custom walnut-and-brass bookcase towers and desk, and creamy leather chairs by Edward Wormley for Baker and Eames. The dark, high-gloss ceiling and walls add reflected light; the Kelly Wearstler side table from Allan Knight and hand-knotted Abrash rug lend texture. Ralph Lauren for Visual Comfort light fixture.
