For 35 years, this event has delighted generations of Dallas families, all while benefiting Ronald McDonald House. Social: September and October left us breathless, but our Smythson datebooks A fter traveling the world for seven years as the girlfriend of t h e d r u m m e r for INXS and living the typical rock 'n' roll life of backstage parties and recording studios, Lisa McCormick moved back to Texas and immersed herself researching and cataloging Asian art for a prominent gallery. Then it was a move to Wall Street and into commodities. When this became overwhelming, she looked for her passion — and it was a dive into ancient art and cultures that resonated. On the hunt for a facial toner with more than just astringent properties to combat her allergies, she studied the history of herbal medicine and set out on a journey that would take her back in time to the ancients … and to Dallas. She found her answer in 14th-century beauty elixirs that share one key ingredient: rosemary. From Hungary to Egypt, this natural, holistic solution was perfected and passed down for generations. Two thousand years later, McCormick perfected the formula for her Wild Mary Active Botanical Elixirs — a line of hydrating, nourishing, and rejuvenating elixirs with an advanced CO 2 extract of rosemary that's rich in antioxidants and omega fatty acids, proven to revitalize and nourish. Best of all, Wild Mary products are organic, non-GMO, and free of synthetic chemicals, all packaged inside stunning recycled violet glass bottles. wildmary.com.
