C O M @ M I C H A E L A I D U S S Inspired largely by ancient motifs and classical architecture, Michael Aiduss and his team conceived a Gilded Age setting for a Grand Salon room at the 2021 Kips Bay Dallas Designer Showhouse. Drawing upon the classical architecture of the house, the Designer added appointments inspired in part by the architecture of Sir Edward Lutyens, executed beautifully by local artisan shop, Casci Plaster, in the form of door casings, crown mouldings and a custom bolection mantlepiece. Layered against the dramatic backdrop was an eclectic composition of furnishings and materials assembled from his vast and limitless inspiration, beginning with the ancient, and ending with contemporary musings.
