There are more than 70 colorful installations to explore, dreamed up in all their wildness by nearly 200 artists. In many ways, this Meow Wolf leans into its unconventional setting, playing off the hold that traditional malls used to have over American culture. "Grapevine Mills checked our boxes from a business aspect, but we're also excited about leaning into the mall culture," Meow Wolf creative director Dale Sheehan says. "It's family-oriented and we want to play with what it means to be in a mall. What scares me the most is getting comfortable doing things one way." Read more at papercitymag.com/meow-wolf.
