16 letter publisher ANNE LAHO N ovember marks the beginning of the holiday season, and we are in full swing with a multitude of events throughout the month. Decorations are up, and fashion, jewelry, and design retailers all over town are preparing for the holiday rush. Need a bit of inspiration to get you in the holiday spirit? Our November issue highlights the most glamorous jewels and fashion you'll need to carry you through the season. Last month, PaperCity partners Theory, Etro, Roberto Cavalli, and Yauatcha opened their doors to celebrate fall with festive cocktail parties and shopping events. And, the most notable event of October was the opening of the spectacular Oscar de la Renta exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. If you haven't seen the exhibition, you must. Running through January 28, 2018, "The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta" showcases nearly 70 breathtaking ensembles sourced from de la Renta's corporate and personal archives, as well as the archives of private lenders, and the private collection of the MFAH. As the month closes, we welcome the rest and downtime that Thanksgiving will bring. The past few months have been difficult for Houston, but we are all moving forward, rebuilding and continuing to give thanks for our health, friends, and family.
