I f we learned anything from this year's Chick Lit Luncheon benefitting Community Partners of Dallas, it's that the social set is obsessed with The Real Housewives of New York City. When Bethenny Frankel — the most outspoken of the NYC Housewives and the entrepreneur behind the low-cal Skinnygirl Cocktails brand — delivered the afternoon's keynote, more than 1,100 ladies who lunch (and a few gents) turned out. Few were bigger Frankel fans, though, than Community Partners' president and CEO Paige McDaniel, who appeared more giddy than usual that afternoon. Frankel's sharp wit and no-filter remarks made this one of the most-talked-about lun- cheons on record. Laughs were had, and even a few pearls were clutched. Here, Frankel's most memorable Chick Lit Luncheon one-liners. I'm rich — but not Dallas rich. Someone said I should run for mayor of New York. And I would — if I could be in pajamas all day. I'd be like the modern-day Hugh Hefner! Take your most normal friend: She's so down-to- earth; she's so normal. Put her on Real Housewives? She'll become bat-sh*t crazy. Nancy Rogers wanted to have a drink after the party at Bachendorf's last night, and I said, "No Nancy. I have to go home and soak my feet in Epsom salt." Cauliflower is the new kale. I want to be kale's new publicist. Cauliflower is comin' in hot. REALITY STARS Chairs Tricia George and Mary Martha Pickens; honorary chair Gail Corder Fischer; and luncheon-goers Lara Tafel, Joanna Clarke, Cindy Rachofsky, Lori Jones, Karla McKinley, Niven Morgan and Shelby Wagner, Leisa Street, Dallas Snadon, Nancy Gopez, and Kristi Bare.
