80 HE'S CERON THE BOMB B Y B I L LY F O N G Ceron, Saint-Tropez, 1985 T he cool girls' club, which we shall now call The Bomb Crew, welcomes its first boy to the mix. Few can get away with a one-word name: Madonna, Sting, Beyoncé, Prince. We have Ceron. When I checked the trusty thesaurus for synonyms for glamorous, I ex- pected his name to pop up; instead, I found charming, fascinating, magnetic, and seduc- tive. Ceron is all of that and more, making him an obvious choice for our premier Boy Bomb. I have been a Ceron fan since our first meeting at the Dallas Museum of Art's Art Ball in 2011, when he came as Brooke Hortenstine's date. (This was also one of the first times he met his future husband, the equally glamorous Todd Fiscus.) Ceron looked straight out of a vintage Tom Ford for Gucci ad: impeccably dressed and armed with an arsenal of bons mots to enchant everyone lucky enough to be seated at our table. Ceron was 007 and he had his Bond girl — Miss Hortenstine — to complete his look. The most memorable party I've ever attended was the marriage of Todd and Ceron in 2013. I've had some incredible New Year's Eves (I spent 1999 and 2000 with Leonardo DiCaprio and crew), but all pale in comparison to the New York City nuptials of T & C. It was a dream — and if you have a couple spare hours and would like to buy me one of my signature Sproses (Sprite and rosé), I'll regale you with anecdotes. Here are just a few highlights: We all stayed at The Carlyle and drank in excess at Bemelmans Bar; feasted on a "$100 chicken dinner" served by hand-selected, scrumptious male models; indulged in a cake created and delivered by Sylvia Weinstock; signed watercolor portraits of ourselves created in advance for the guest book; and ended the four days of parties with a dim sum disco, complete with Asian female illusionists and Lucy Wrubel behind the turntables. Today, the power couple divides their time between Dallas and Houston. Ceron's namesake salon in Houston is the place where a girl goes to be transformed. Pardon me for going on and on about an amazing boy, whom I am honored to call a friend. I get excited every time he makes an entrance at a party — and I am privileged when he gives me a wink from across the room. The only text needed to accompany this photo is a few simple words: Ceron, chic in a bathing suit. Would that have worked? Enjoy PaperCity's first-ever swimsuit edition. Approximate date of this photo. Remember to not be too specific or — perish the thought! — give away age. It's approximately 1985 in Saint-Tropez. The occasion. Summer. What are you wearing? I was infatuated with Brideshead Revisited and every- thing they wore. He was an English designer, and my hairstyle and sunglasses were very 1920s. First extravagant fashion purchase. A 1980s Versace tuxedo that was military black. I paid $3,000. Why is this a Bomb.com picture of you? Drugs, sex, and alcohol!
