30 RETAIL THERAPY Photography Dana Driensky, Sheryl Lanzel, Cooper Neill NEIMAN MARCUS DOWNTOWN M ore than popovers and strawberry butter drew us to Neiman Marcus' flagship store for the announcement of The Crystal Charity Ball's Ten Best Dressed Women of Dallas. When featured designer Zac Posen jets in for the Fashion Show and Luncheon on Friday, September 15, there will be plenty to celebrate. Anita Arnold, Delilah Boyd, Katherine Coker, Janie Condon, Lisa Cooley, Tucker Enthoven, Pat Harloe, Julie Hawes, Amy Hegi, and Piper Wyatt will take to the catwalk — and our favorite Dallas cowgirl, Charlotte Jones Anderson, will be toasted as this year's Hall of Fame Honoree. We See You: NM execs Karen Katz, Neva Hall, Mimi Crume Sterling, Marjon Henderson, Chuck Steelman, and Jeff Byron; Fashion Show and Luncheon chair Christi Urschel; and Ball chair Pam Perella. Jane Rozelle DAVID YURMAN Fans of football and fine jewelry flocked to David Yurman for a meet-and-greet with Yurman himself, Dallas Cowboy Dak Prescott and his gridiron teammates Zack Martin, Tyrone Crawford, Travis Frederick, and Ezekiel Elliot. The evening paid tribute to Dak's mother, the late Peggy Prescott, with 10 percent of proceeds benefit- ting Kids 2 Camp. "I try to be the person that my mother was," Dak told PaperCity. We See You: David Yurman store manager Reggie Rolle, Kimberly and Justin Whitman, former ESPN sportscaster Ed Werder, Wendy Taylor, and Rachel Roberts. Linden Wilson NEIMAN MARCUS, NORTHPARK CENTER Photographer Geof Kern has many fans — and their number has swelled since his "Blue Skies: Photographs by Geof Kern" exhibition went on display just outside Neiman Marcus NorthPark. A mix of creative types and fashion luminaries turned out for a reception in his honor, where models were cast into a bizarre Wonderland-like world by his surreal images of toppled cars, curious plants, low-fly- ing jumbo jets, and drones, shot for Neiman Marcus' annual Art of Fashion campaign. We See You: NM execs Ginger Reeder, Sandy Marple, and Malcolm Reuben; Maureen Dalton Wolfe, Margaret Stafford, Kristen Gibbins, Fred Holston, and Leon Banowetz. Christina Geyer BURBERRY "Are you on Instagram?" Plum Sykes asked us the morning after a signing of her book, Party Girls Die in Pearls, at the Burberry boutique. "I am obsessed with Instagram stories." A peek at hers from her one- night trip to Dallas was like reading a chapter from the ultimate It-girl (or "It-woman," as she now likes to be called) handbook. Prior to the party, she hopped around town with the evening's host, Nasiba Hartland- Mackie. They made stops at Forty Five Ten on Main, and The Tot in Highland Park Village before heading to Burberry. On everyone's shop- ping list was the newest It-bag: the smart, top-handle DK88, as a por- tion of proceeds that night benefitted TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art. We See You: Anne Vincent, Tina Craig, Ashley Bryan, and store manager Natasha Shaw.
