Rising to the Occasion at Bering's W ith visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads, guests filled Bering's Bissonnet location for an evening of benevolence and bonhomie during The Rise School of Houston's annual Gifts from the Heart event. Adding flair to the affair, which honored Pat and Dee Osborne, were members of the Houston Ballet's The Nutcracker, who arrived fully costumed. Bering's donated a hefty percentage of the night's proceeds to The Rise School, which provides early education to children both with and without disabilities in an integrated environment.
