Giving the Gift of Life L ife's necessities were in the hearts of philanthropists when The Living Bank dedicated its 45th anniversary Celebrating Life event to Margaret Williams for her long-term commitment to the first organ donor registry in the United States. Co- chairmen E. Edward Reitman and founding member Joan Anderson summoned the Texas Medical Center transplant community to The Junior League of Houston for a night of entertainment. Vital vindicators: John Greer, Jan Duncan, Denis DeBakey, Philamena and Arthur Baird, Mary Ann and David McKeithan, Kelli Cohen Fein and Martin Fein, Andrew Bertrand, and Jim Bertrand. A glittering holiday luncheon at Hotel Granduca's Ristorante Cavour raised funds to help involved supporter Saula Valente provide millions of people in developing nations with clean water through Charity:Water.
