Chairman Peter Ragauss gathered more than 100 sponsors and Alley patrons for the magical tree- lighting ceremony, scheduled in conjunction with the opening-night performance of A Christmas Carol. Enlightened: Ragauss' wife Jennifer and children Andrew and Emily; Butch Mach, with daughter Lilly; and Barbara and Tom Gros. Melissa and Michael Mithoff opened their home to the Legacy Community Health Services' annual Holiday Schmooze cocktail party. Co- hosted with Rosemarie and Matt Johnson, the merrymaking mixer raised more than $200,000 for Legacy's low-income medical and social service clinics. Under the mistletoe: Legacy CEO Katy Caldwell, Chree Boydstun, Martha Turner and Glenn Bauguss, Carolyn and Steve Mafrige, Phoebe and Bobby Tudor, and Diane Lokey Farb. The Trees of Hope Winter White Gala at the River Oaks Country Club, chaired by Carol Buckley and Michelle Buckley, honored Robin and Danny Klaes for a decade of generosity towards the children's programs at Star of Hope. Lifetime board member Lynn Wyatt summoned the support of guests, while a live auction had Faith and Lee Majors taking home the Baccarat champagne wishes tree and Jim Bullard dancing with a Nordic moose by the end of the night.
