I hope you enjoyed PaperCity's new format while reading our September issue. The personal notes, flowers, and calls from friends and advertisers (and even other publications!) embracing the new format reinforced our belief that we made the right change. After what seemed like months of late nights and advertising trips to New York and Dallas, we finally celebrated last month with launch parties at Bistro Menil in Houston and The Joule hotel in Dallas. Each venue was packed to the brim with advertisers and friends, both long-time and new — and and the feedback was over- whelmingly positive. As we settle into another beautiful fall, PaperCity is busy covering the Houston social landscape. Our launch parties are just part of the story. Last month, PaperCity was honored to host, alongside Vogue, the annual VIP party at The Webster to kick off the Galleria's fashion show. We also co-hosted the opening soirées of two fabulous new River Oaks District boutiques, Akris and Bonpoint.
