First up, the second annual Party on the Patio benefitting Texas Lyme Disease Association was held en plein air at the store's intimate patio. Chairs Joanie Jacomini Herring, Beverly Jacomini, Libby Watts, and Tiffany Masterson (she, founding partner of nontoxic Drunk Elephant Skincare, which was showcased that day) mingled with guests over ice-cold margs and delicious bites from neighbor Armandos. Houston Wellness Center's Dr. George Allibone answered questions about Lyme disease, and Lafayette Herring relayed his firsthand experience with the devastating illness. Seen: Divine Design Houston founder Cindy Garbs; Armandos' Cinda and Armando Palacios; Robin Simon; Sharon Worley; Eric Watts; Amanda Fox; Dinah Lin; and Marsha Tucker. Then, at summer's end, Dress for Success' young professionals group, Women of Wardrobe, welcomed fashion designer Jay Godfrey from New York and jewelry designer Claudia Lobao from San Francisco, with a percentage of the evening's sales benefitting WOW, which empowers lower-income women to achieve economic success. Those who arrived fashionably early scored goodies such as complimentary Drybar blowouts and gratis rides at spin spot SoulCycle.
