24 DINNER EN PLEIN AIR The Enchanted Garden theme, brought to life by Richard Flowers of The Events Company, was in- spired by the Houston and Maine homes of chairs Tina and Joe Pyne. The seated dinner catered by City Kitchen was held in a spectacular tent on the grounds. More than 470 guests included MFAH di- rector Gary Tinterow, Bayou Bend director Bonnie Campbell, Vivien and Scott Caven, Nancy and Rich Kinder, Jay Jones and Terry Wayne Jones, Diane Lokey Farb, Laurie and Reed Morian, Rose Cullen, Aliyya Stude, Karen and Mel Payne, Greg Fourticq Jr., Sara Dodd, Mark Sullivan, Stuart and Eliza Stedman, Margaret Williams with Jim Daniels, Francis Marzio, Karol and Paul Barnhart, and Anne and Charles Duncan. LUNCH AMONGST THE LILIES Jennifer Segal and Laura Arnold chaired the in- augural event; the latter lives next door and says her kids call Bayou Bend "the Pinkalicious" house. The Webster runway show was styled by Ursaline Hamilton and showcased looks from Sonia Rykiel, Givenchy, Stella McCartney, Gucci, and Valentino. City Kitchen divinely catered the luncheon, held be- neath a garden tent designed by Richard Flowers of The Events Company.
