The Family Place is the largest domestic violence service provider in Texas — and it has been keeping survivors safe for 45 years. For more than a decade, Audi Dallas has supported The Family Place, and I've watched the organization grow in quality and service to our neighbors in need. How has The Family Place impacted you and your community? The Family Place visited our offices and educated our staff on the power and control dynamics that lead to abuse. Many people think abuse is only physical, but it can also encompass psychological or emotional manipulation and hurt. After this training, a few of my staff were able to recognize situations where they were abused and bring these concerns to me to help address them. This is just one example of how The Family Place works every day to advocate for and educate the community. What can we do to help? Get involved.
