The duo presents their debut book, Sawyer | Berson: Houses and Landscapes (Rizzoli), where they showcase projects that seamlessly meld modernism and classicism including a modernist Hampton house of stone and glass, a cedar-shingled house in Colonial Revival style, and a four-suite home built according to the pinwheel floorplans of early 20th-century houses by Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. The two met in the early 1990s when working together at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and present clients include record producer Mark Ronson, Julianne Moore, Bette Midler, Vera Wang, and Elle McPherson.
