Sleek Staub cookware and fine salts and olive oils furnish a mock kitchen nook; clean-beauty products from Vintner's Daughter and May Lindstrom, among others, stock shelves in the personal-care section; and fine jewelry and fashion collections reflect a well-appointed closet. In one showcase are vintage Hermès Birkins and Kelly bags, in partnership with NYC vintage emporium What Goes Around Comes Around. And nearby, there's a healthy dis- play of the latest women's ready-to-wear and accessories from Prada. The latter is what drew a crowd to the boutique for a late-afternoon shopping fête in celebration of Goop's part- nership with the Italian fashion house. Hosted by Taylor Tomasi Hill, it was all about shopping for a cause, with a portion of sales benefitting Genesis Women's Shelter. In the crowd were Genesis Women's Shelter CEO Jan Langbein, Sheryl Maas, Lisa Moore, Lindsey McClain, Bradley Agather Means, Meg Florence, Joanna Czech, Suzanne Droese, Dina Arnott, and Cate Ford. Throughout the party, guests whispered and wondered whether Goop founder and Academy Award-winning actor Gwyneth Paltrow would make an appearance. As the party wound down, GP — who had just landed in Dallas from L.A. — arrived for a quick look-see and to say hello to the few guests who remained. She didn't stay long, however, as she had a hot dinner date with Dallas' chicest Goopies (Brian Bolke, Tina Craig, Jane Aldridge, Lucy Wrubel, Chandra North Blaylock, Catherine Macmahon) at an intimate dinner party at the home of Stephen and Elisa Summers, co-owners of Highland Park Village.
