Sedrick Huckaby November 2016 Fort Worth Photographer Max Burkhalter Painter Sedrick Huckaby reclaims the 1901 house of his grand- mother, Big Momma, which is situated in an African-American neighborhood in Fort Worth. He took the Victorian structure down to the studs, creating a sense of place, time, eternity, and community for his large-scale works. The 2016 portrait of Huckaby's wife is of artist Letitia Huckaby.
